Cinegraphic Productions is an off-shoot production company of Polonia Bros. Entertainment, designed to produce motion pictures dedicated to the memory of John Polonia, who passed away too early in life, leaving behind a treasure of un-finished scripts and productions. His passion, dream and love of film will be realized through a series of new productions. Originally founded by Matt Satterly and Mark Polonia, now Mark with the help of family, friends, and long-time collaborators will oversee the realization of these special films. This website will be updated through-out productions and serve as the main PBE and Cinegraphic Productions homepage for future projects.

History of Polonia Bros. Entertainment

Films and film-making have been a part of my life, and John's, since a very early age. We nurtured this fascination into a craft and career by starting simply, with an old super-8 camera. Once we laid our hand on that, there was no turning back. We wrote, directed, starred in, created effects for, edited, and re-looped scores of back-yard epics. Friends and family were willing and un-willing participants. Our imagination knew no bounds and there was nothing stopping us.

Several films, including THE NIGHT JOHNNY CAME HOME and HALLOWEEN NIGHT, were perennial favorites at our high school. As soon as video became affordable to the average American, we switched gears and began producing our projects on this new, and relatively inexpensive medium. We quickly discovered that everything from our film world, with a bit of adapting, could easily be transferred over.

Abandoning a super-8 feature called FIRST SLAUGHTER, we embarked on a project called CHURCH OF THE DAMNED. It ultimately ended in failure, but we learned an awful lot about crafting a video project. A few months later we gave it another try and HALLUCINATIONS was born. 4 months later, we tackled SPLATTER FARM,and the rest is history. Polonia Bros. Entertainment went through many changes, ups and downs, successes and failures.

Today, the legacy continues. Looking back, Polonia Bros. Entertainment was always there, always with us. Germinating, sprouting, and growing, much like life itself.
